Rovings for Weaving Direct access Products available Applications Our direct roving products are of the single end roving type, and provide outstanding performance in weaving. Weaving allows the production of planar reinforcements (woven roving, multi-axial, various stitched fabrics, grids) used in the composites market.   PRODUCTS AVAILABLE Ref Processing and characteristics Data sheet Material Safety Data sheet P196 P196 is designed for general purpose use; it is compatible with the usual thermosetting resin systems (unsaturated polyester, vinylester, epoxy, phenolic). No catenary, a very low fuzz level and good run-out during weaving, good wet-out and high composite mechanical properties are among the benefits of using this single-end roving type for weaving. 688 RO99 688 is an E-glass direct roving, principally designed for the production of multiaxial fabrics, woven rovings, combinated products, mesh fabrics, scrims, etc...RO99 688 is treated with silane based coupling agents conferring compatibility with polyester, vinylester, epoxy, and phenolic resins. Due to its soft, slippery and flat shaped strand, 688 is specially well suited to be used on multiaxial machines.
