P243 | |
P243 is a roving produced by assembling E glass strands, wound without twist into cylindrical cheeses. It is specially designed for the manufacture of translucent panel, using all types of cutters. P243 shows very good unwinding behaviour, which makes it well suited for all normal conditions encountered in this application. It exhibits good splitting and chopping of the strands, providing excellent fibre distribution, negligible static electricity build-up under normal ambient conditions and very good wet-out and impregnation. |

P227 | |
P227 is an assembled roving with the same outstanding processing characteristics as P243. This product allows the production of panel with especially high translucency. In fact, the P227 sizing has been specifically engineered to obtain a perfect impregnation with the usual resin systems employed in this application. |
